backwards: my cardigan.  taking closet remixing very seriously, i tried to reinvent this cardi by wearing it backwards and tucking it into my favourite j.crew pencil skirt.  it was actually more comfortable than wearing it closed the right way around, as the buttons normally gape at the front.  a definite must try!

 backwards: capitalqcreative.com.  almost a year after starting my social media business, i am finally doing a big website launch on monday.  i've been so lucky to gain more clients the old fashioned way, but it's definitely time to be extra legit with a website.  also, a great excuse to order new business cards.  i LOVE getting new moo cards.

 backwards: going to new york in august instead of spetember for NYFW.  it kills me a little that i went a month ago and could have been there right now instead, enjoying FNO NYC, the IFB conference, and the BCBG and herve leger shows.  oh well, hopefully i can make it there in the spring instead!

 backwards: the fact that my automatic driver's side car window no longer rolls down.  who'd of thought that i'd be wishing for manual car windows?  it's especially awkward at drive-thru's, parkade ticket booths, and when someone walks up to your car to talk to you.  suppose i'll have to make a trip to the mechanics soon!

This post brought a smile to my face - this look is straight out of my closet, from what Ian calls the "idiot cardigan" (which I obviously love, hence why it has its own name in our house) to the H&M necklace that I own and overwear in a ridiculous way. Of course Paris is fabulous but after seeing all of the snaps of you girls at FNO and then this... breaks my heart just a little :) Skype date soon.

  18. Don't you just love how you can kinda reinvent a piece by just wearing it backwards? After I saw Cee doing it in one of her posts a while back I tried it and I love the effect. I had a few simple tees from Gap and they always looked awkward when worn normally, but backwards they look much better.
