As most of us do from time to time, I've been overcome with an urge for more tulle in my life. A frantic call to my mom has already been placed, and she has promised to attempt to sew me a gorgeous, full tulle skirt of my own. Pretty much essential for all upcoming parties and our trip to France in June. In fact, I'm getting the distinct feeling that my suitcase to Paris is going to contain tulle skirts...and nothing else.

I too have had a sudden need for a tulle skirt. In fact I am in the midst of sewing a chocolate bit of loveliness that may never see the light of day. Why? Because it's actually kind of a nightmare to sew. And my cats think all of this voluminous fabric {that seemingly has a life of it's own} has been brought into the house strictly for their entertainment. So, be very kind to your Mom {wink}. Just sayin'.

I have always loved tulle skirts, even before Carrie made them famous on SATC. It must stem from my childhood dreams of being a ballerina, who knows!
