You read the above statement correctly. That plaid cape-scarf-thingy was an impulse buy at Wal Mart of all places. I honestly never even shop there! It was supposed to be a quick, specific trip that turned into the purchase of clothing, which is just so often the case in my life. You shouldn’t even be surprised right now. This whole look was my very best attempt at “cabin-chic” (is that a thing?) for our trip to Bowen Island last weekend. It was actually really nice to escape the city for a bit and breathe in some fresh air. A few days of slow-paced island life was just what the doctor ordered.
This week has been a complete whirlwind of good news and exciting opportunities. Lots of awesome to share with you guys very soon! In the meantime, here is a song that has been stuck on repeat – it brings a smile to my face every time. Happy weekend-ing!
