I know exactly what you’re thinking right now.  You’re like “Wow, Alicia.  I am so loving the background of these photos.”  And I have to say that yes, I agree with you – that is one beautiful blue dumpster!  This may come as a surprise to my fellow Vancouverites, but Kingsaway just didn’t have much to offer in the way of scenic backgrounds.  And though the giant Safeway sign on the opposite side of the road had a nice pop of red, I figured that the patches of grass on a downward slanted sidewalk was my better option.  Making adult decisions is fun.
So, these bold printed pumps arrived on my doorstep this week and I decided to prep them up with a few of the classics. Point is, I stole one of Adam’s shirts (steal first, ask to borrow later) because that seems to be the only way I can wear a button up without it bursting at the seams.  He gets his custom made by a tailor and it JUST hit me today that I should do the same.  I’ll keep you posted on this oh-so-important revelation.
Lastly, don’t forget to pick up your copy of The Province today for Metropolis at Metrotown‘s Spring 2013 trends styled by yours truly.  It’s all about stripes.  And Michael Kors.  And Michael Kors stripes. LONG LIVE THE STRIPE! xo

Hi Alicia! I've beena follower of your blog for sometime now, and I love the sense of style that you possess! This outfit's gotta be one of the best so far. It channels minimalism, and the shoes & bag add a nice pop to the entire ensemble. Please do few more such outfits, in the future, so that people like me who embrace minimalism can take some fashion inspiration 🙂
P.S. You have lovely hair, and even prettier eyes ♥ Would you tell me how you achieved the eyelashes?

Alicia, where does Adam get his shirts custom made? I'd love to do the same. If you get some made let us know your experience! Thanks!
