Petal To The Metal

My God, I love you guys. I always feel a hint of nervousness (and by hint I mean I question my instincts 1000 times, pace around the room, press publish and hold my breath) every time I publish something really personal like yesterday’s post. You are all nothing short of amazing and you’ve definitely inspired me to continue sharing these thoughts, questions, and struggles I’m experiencing as they happen. I’ll try to think of this blog as a nest of trust in a tree of understanding*. Amongst all the smoke and mirrors on social media, I often forget that we’re ALL just kind of stumbling through life!

On a less therapeutic note, we HAVE to talk about this outfit. It’s rare that I get dressed and feel like declaring my love for it from the mountaintops! I can confidently say that this is one of my favourite looks I’ve put together in quite a long time. Most definitely a true reflection of my girly side!

I’m pretty excited to be knocking a ton of crap off the to-do list today and getting a major mid-week party as a reward. Will first spend my evening mingling on a yacht (best event location ever?) and then I’m off to see Shakey Graves at The Commodore! It’s guaranteed to be a good night and I’m wishing you all the same. Thank you again for the support, you’re the best xo
