I really wanted to step outside of the box and style this little number up to look super different, but sometimes it’s best to leave a cute piece alone to be the star of the show. Printed dresses are one of my weaknessess right now. I currently have more than I’d like to admit to you in my closet. This polka dot dress was my other Boxing Day purchase at Barefoot Contessa. Half price AND my biggest weakness; I just couldn’t say no.

I'm with ya in admitting that SALES are my weakness. Anything 50% or more off… how can you say no?! Loving that dress. And JEALOUS that it's beautiful in BC. Ottawa had a massive snow storm today. It's icky.
Dresses are totally my weakness. I've started justifying them by only buying work-appropriate dresses… but every so often I get one that is really a party dress hehe
This is such a CUTE dress!! I love it! And I hear you, sometimes I have a hard time styling something I think is really cute (often times, a printed dress!) because I don't want to take away from it… I want it to stand on it's own! I love this though, lookin' good on day two, lady!!

Very cute! I wish my weakness was something more pretty and fashionable but I can never turn down things that are both soft, and grey. Don't know why! I love the polka dots on you 🙂
It's nice to let a piece of clothing speak for itself. I like the way you paired it. Sometimes simplicity is better! I love just being able to put on a dress, throw on some tights and shoes, then get out of the house.
My biggest shopping weakness? SHOES. I can buy a couple pairs at a time. If I remember correctly, I bought 13 pairs of shoes last year. Yeah… I love shoes. I love that they're easy to put on. No need to line up for a fitting room, no need to remove your clothes. 🙂
