White Out

Don’t fall over in shock, but here I am wearing yet another LWD!  The hottest dress colour this year (in my world, anyway) I just couldn’t say no to this little white dress from Gentle Fawn.  It’s one (or anything else on their site for that matter) that you can get for 15% OFF using code ‘AliciaxGF’ at checkout!

I was immediately drawn to the dress because it perfectly embodies a boho vibe without being too literal.  Though I love to take on different looks depending on my mood, I have decided that I need to do a better job of keeping an underlying sense of my personal style.  This Lilith dress does this perfectly and even manages to have comfortable, figure flattering fit.  It is a bit shorter in length (a warning for any of you gals blessed with long legs) but that’s easily downplayed in the daytime with flat shoes.  For a night out, I’ve styled the dress with an oversized hat and ankle boots.  You know how the versatilely of a piece makes me extra happy!

Let’s also note that I have been wearing glasses for 10 years now and only just last week got my first pair of prescription sunglasses!  I can’t believe I’m admitting it, but my system for driving was quite a budget option of layering a pair of regular sunglasses over my prescription glasses.  This worked in the car, but definitely did not translate if I got out of said car and forgot that I was wearing TWO pairs of eyewear!  A lot of confused glances from strangers in the last decade, that’s for sure.  Anyway, thankfully I found this lovely pair from Bailey Nelson just in time for our honeymoon, where I’ll now hopefully be able to actually see the sights.  A foreign concept for me until now!
