things i learned this weekend:
1. though really cool, train track photos are quite dangerous because actual trains use those tracks too
2. that it’s not going outside without a jacket that leads to a cold.  it’s a lack of sleep and surviving on a banana and three cups of coffee a day (okay, and some chocolate too).
3. letting your boyfriend decorate christmas cookies equals every type of sprinkle on one cookie.
4. what maple ridge looks like
5. that even candace cameron bure (aka dj tanner) can’t save the worst christmas made for tv movie script ever written.  and that i could be desperate enough to watch an entire candice cameron bure movie.
hope you all had an enjoyable weekend xo

Ah I love Wolf Parade! We seriously need to have a music party one day, aka sit with our laptops and share files. You know, the COOL type of party!

You look STUNNING in these outfits pal, especially that third from the bottom, your eyes look insane. I love this casual but still super stylish look. Also loving your little list there, especially the one about the cookies…poor Adam haha. Also, are you going to the Spank event on Wednesday?

I completely agree about #2. I've been attempting some outfit photos outside lately (a huge step for me considering how much of a weenie I am about being cold!). Feeling run down with low blood sugar makes you much more susceptible to getting sick.

    Have a good week, Alicia!

That sweater looks fabulously cozy. Have to say – although I love the look of train track photos, I would hesitate to do them myself unless I was REALLY confident of the train schedule.

  • Leonie December 6, 2011 at 10:39 pm

Great pictures! I have always wanted to take pictures on train tracks.

Lovely layered look – that yellow scarf is so pretty! Especially with that little bit of sunshine in the pictures.

Thanks for the invite Alicia, I am working until 3, but you ladies have fun taking photos!
And I did dye my hair…just to get the "yellow" out a bit, so I think in the last set of shots the lighting was making it look a bit darker than it is…
    Have a great day!
