adam and i have a list of local communities to explore and first up was beautiful steveston. spent good friday shopping, eating, walking along the boardwalk, and of course, taking pictures! here’s a few of the highlights of the day, including our favourite new spots. do you have any favourite things to do in steveston?
our fav steveston shopping was at violet hill boutique, steve’s board shop , and nakaido gifts .

this quesadilla from cimona cafe was seriously filling, could have been shared! packed full of vegetable goodies like squash. definitely recommend for cheap, casual eats!
how could we go an entire day without a caffeine hit? we’d heard lots of great things about rocanini coffee roasters and the hype is all true!

and since i dragged him into this online mess that is social media, i must mention that adam is finally on twitter! follow him @madadub if you’d like funny tweets and the possibility of embarrassing photos of me. no seriously…

Hey, I just had a staycation in Toronto a couple of weeks ago, and it was so great. You get to do all the things you've been putting off, enjoy your own city, and it looks you've really enjoyed yourself. 🙂

Exploring cities is probably one of my favorite past times. Besides reading a book 😀 Also, I really like your nail polish! I almost picked up the same color the other day but realized I had been buying too much nail polish as of late, haha.

Rocca has the best coffee ever. I'm lucky enough to work right next to the one in Vancouver. SO GOOD.
Definitely going to have to frequent their Vancouver location now! Maybe see you there sometime 😉
