London Calling with SHOEME.ca

If there’s ever a time to wear your most stylish, it’s in a big city like London.  Whenever I cross the pond, I feel the need to step my fashion game up – and for good reason.  The street style there is impeccable!  Thankfully, To Vogue Or Bust and I enlisted the help of one of our favourite online shops, SHOEME.ca on our recent trip.  Be sure to click through to see snaps of our best looks AND a little video of our SHOEME adventures!

If you can’t tell by my huge, goofy smile throughout this entire video, touring London in our SHOEME.ca footwear absolutely made the trip!  Watch us as we explore Notting Hill (I’m just a girl, standing in front of pastel buildings, saying I love shoes), Kensington, Westminster, Tower Bridge, and Buckingham Palace!

Turns out that footwear can easily be the starting point for all your packing needs.  I based all my favourite look around my Philip Chelsea Whiskey Frye Boots, Leopard Kat Maconies, and Sam Edelman Lily Flats from SHOEME.ca (and even had some fun with Richer Poorer Socks).

I unintentionally went for kind of a rustic look on our first full day in London, where we ventured over to the one and only Notting Hill.  Pastel buildings are a win no matter what, and the area was actually scarcely populated on a weekday.  Thus, leaving us to be those people out in the street snapping photos and talking into our phones (for Snapchat purposes, of course).  I cannot even tell you how much wear I got out of these Cognac Frye Chelsea boots!  Hope you like them as much as I do because they’re certainly going to show up on the blog again very very soon.

It was love at first sight with these Kat Maconies.  If I were to design a shoe myself (and had even an ounce of shoe designing talent), these would so be it!  I paired them with comfy leggings and an oversized white blouse for our magic hour in Kensington.  A little tourist cozy with a statement shoe is the way to go!

Can’t leave out these function-meets-fashionable Richer Poorer Socks.  The quality is amazing and I love how great they look peeking out of boots or on their own.  Oh, and these Sam Edelman flats were a saviour over and over again.  Last trip, I completely forgot to pack a chic pair of flats and it really caused my feet a lot of grief.  And I don’t mean to get all cartoon penguin movie, but the biggest thing to keep in mind whilst travelling is having happy feet.  See what I did there?  Hah?  Hah?!
