These Boots

Ring the bells and shout it from the rooftops!  FALL IS HERE!  And when I see those crunchy multicoloured leaves sprinkled along the sidewalk, it’s officially boot weather.

Now an instant reflex, I can’t help but break out into a little Nancy Sinatra every time I step out in these cognac over the knee boots!  It was a fun experiment pairing them with a mini skirt.  The worry being a fine line between cute and completely scandalous, I felt relatively confident/put together for the most part.  There was just one uncomfortable moment of the day, when I had to stop by the local Mountain Equipment Co-Op for some international outlet converters.  Already not your usual MEC customer, to strut into their establishment in these boots and this short skirt, I could definitely feel the heat rise in my face.  Things worked out just fine though and I did what most people do nowadays, which was pretend to be doing something v.important on my phone.  I do have an MEC membership now though, maybe I’ll have to try sporting a different trend next time I stop by!
