I recently stopped by my local Mavi store to browse their spring/summer collection and I never would have dreamed that I’d leave that place with anything other than new ultra loose/comfortable boyfriend jeans! The button down denim skirt is a style that I’d really written off as not a viable option for my curves, but here we are, thanks to the magic of stretch denim and Mavi’s impeccable fits. And this wasn’t just one of those seems like a good idea in the moment kind of buys, I have been wearing it a ton! In fact, you’ll be seeing this denim skirt again in tomorrow’s episode of the VLOG!
This long weekend has been a ton of work, but not the usual computer stuff. As mentioned, we’d blocked off these three days to really buckle down and clean, unpack and organize our stuff. We did a HUGE purge, especially since I have this really odd and terrible habit. When I was little, I used to pack bags of stuff and keep them around my bedroom and in the closet. I realized a few years ago that this strange behaviour has continued on through adulthood. I spent 8 hours going through bags and bags of papers and other random odds and ends. Purging so much clutter feels like I lost 10 lbs of unnecessary stress. This apartment is really coming together, I absolutely cannot wait to show you the end result!
