my new skinny jeans

There’s a lot to be happy about these days. I’ve been working out and eating better and have actually started seeing results, one of my best friends got engaged this weekend, the Canucks are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, etc. etc. Come to think of it, it’s really been quite a stressful week LOL! But, I’m trying my hardest to get through it with a smile on my face and a positive attitude! I’m thinking that a glass of wine (or two) might bring my stress levels down πŸ˜‰

What do you do to cope with a hectic week?

You are looking good! I too have been on a health kick and it seems to be working! Yay! Love those skinny jeans on you!

I have a mojito and read on my balcony to de-stress. I feel your pain for all the stress. Hopefully the rest of our weeks go better!

Those jeans do look good! I'll have to stop by Plum one of these days. I've never been but I love all the pieces that you've worn in your posts!

Also been having a stressful week. I cope with shopping hahaha. Retail therapy at it's best!

I have told you this a gazillion times but you're so pretty. oh and, those skinny jeans look great on you!

when I am stressed I usually have a glass of wine, walk a little or jog, read blogs, pray or meditate.

  • Cee June 15, 2011 at 3:54 am

A glass of wine (or two) is my solution for pretty much every stressful situation πŸ™‚ Good for you for making an effort to get healthier, though- although all the effort probably isn't helping your stress level, I'm sure the results will be more than worth it! You are looking gorgeous- that floral top is beautiful, your floppy hat is perfection and that blue nailpolish (is it from the Glee collection) is the perfect finishing touch!

That floppy hat is incredible! Is it clichΓ© to ease stress with chocolate? Because that is what I definitely do!

I love the first picture! You're so cute! I'm glad you're seeing results from all of your hard work! I love a good glass (or 2) of wine or a little yoga or climbing to relieve stress!

  • Holly June 15, 2011 at 7:21 pm

first of all…you got some major air!! and secondly a glass of wine, a little walk by the water helps me!

  • Rebecca Jane June 16, 2011 at 6:58 pm

Sounds like a pretty good week, all things considered. When recuperating from a hectic week I generally like to just have a bath or read a book, something quiet where I can just "be", cheesy as it sounds.

  • This Charming Style June 16, 2011 at 8:12 pm

You look great, i adore the blouse and hat!

I deal with a hectic week by drinking a lot of beer with friends at the end of it. Haha! not the best advice πŸ˜€

  • Danielle June 16, 2011 at 11:41 pm

    Wine. Lots of Wine.

I could really go for some wine right now, and maybe an email account that works. Thank God we got back some of our FOLDERS!

Good for you on the being healthy & exercising! I'm attempting to do that to prepare for beach days… it's a long process. Dessert is just tooo tasty. So is wine (that is definitely my de-stressor!)

    Have a fabulous weekend!

These are some of the cutest photos I've seen on your blog Alicia! Love the colour palette of your outfit. Hope your stress levels have been lowered by now, and I'm glad you've been taking care of your body and seeing results. That's the best! I personally try to sleep it off, go for a run or dress up and feel pretty πŸ™‚

Such a cute outfit. Love the hat. A face mask, manicure, peidcure and a hair treatment along with the glass of wine in a nice hot bath is always what I do to unwind and destress. Hope you'll feel better soon. Mae xx
