And what better way to bring in the first day of summer than actual sunshine and a new shade of lipstick?
I really wanted to get a bright coral lip colour, but some trends should be left to others. I looked a bit scary with fluorescent coral lips, and was adviced by my Sephora sales associate that I should stick to a slight coral tinted gloss. I settled on the Sephora brand lipstick in ‘Coral Coquette’ which I recommend for others who aren’t ready for highlighter lips.
Thinking I’ll celebrate the first day of summer with an after work bbq and a concert at a new local music venue. How will you spend your summer solstice?

You look so chic! I love the bright blue jacket and the blue polka dot shoes.
Neon coral isn't my thing either. I have one lipstick from Chanel Rouge Allure in Exotic that I consider my coral lip colour. It looks very orangey in the tube, but it goes on semi-sheer and blends with my lip's natural pink colour to give me a bright but not outrageous coral hue. Try it!

I'd actually love to see you with bright coral lips, but I know bold lip colours take a bit of getting used to- my coral lipstick doesn't make it out of my make-up drawer all that often 🙂 And bright coral probably wouldn't have gone with this elegant look… Something about the sleek ponytail and polkadot pumps (which I adore, by the way) reminds me of Pippa Middleton, who, like you, is pretty much as stylish as they come 🙂
