It’s insane to admit, but I’m still feeling the effects of wedding chaos in everyday life.  I’m constantly tired and am now fighting this annoying sore throat.  I have a suspicion it all has to do with a lack of nutrients due to the fact that I never did revisit the doctor after finding out I’m anemic.  Been thinking about possibly trying out a naturopath and finally putting effort into fixing my stomach issues.  Which is an extensive list of life long problems that are probably only heightened by my lack of iron (I’ve been a vegetarian for almost ever).  A real joy and a delight, I tell ya!  Have you ever seen a naturopathic doctor?  Any words of wisdom?

As for this go-to ensemble, I must point out that there’s something to be said about a classic pop of red in any outfit.  When I want to dress casually, I aim to add timeless elements that add an appeal to even the most basic looks.  A striped shirt, cute red Miz Mooz sandals, and a rouge lip?  You’re set!  Stripes and a bold accent immediately transform your look into something chic.  It’s basically a magical fashion formula.  And this outfit truly has been such a saviour on those days when I feel like there’s nothing new to wear!

Oh I’m anemic too, welcome! I find that liquid iron absorbs the fastest into the body rather than iron pills. You can get it over the counter at any pharmacy (no doctor’s note required) and chase that liquid iron down with orange juice. Tastes nasty but will get you going again.

    Hi Alicia,

I’ve been taking Palafer (red box) with Vitamin C (orange flavour) for the last 5 years. It’s really helped my low energy and my iron level is normal now. I don’t take it as much only when I need it. I tried a lot of other ones at the beginning until I find Palafer that didn’t have any side affects after awhile. Hope this helps 🙂
