Everything is awesome and from Front and Company
This post is in honour of The World Cup. Not really, but we did happen to take these photos on a soccer (football) field. Very Bend It Like Beckham – but like, the scene where they get mini makeovers and go clubbing and Keira Knightley wears that totally late 90’s backless crop top. I love that movie, such a classic. Anyway, another look from the amazing day of styling fun with Front and Company. I never in a million years thought I could wear an a-line lace dress, nevermind one with a dropped hem! It really does come down to trying styles on to learn what is figure flattering. Which isn’t always set in stone, as this really is something that can aadjust with different trends and any change in your body shape. Maybe some people never change clothing sizes (luuuucky), but I’m not one who is blessed with the ability to still be able to fit into my jeans from high school. And yes, I do have a pair of size 28 low waist, no pocket jeans in a bin under my bin that I am determined to one day put on after losing an obscene amount of weight in a short period of time for my very own Miranda-esque moment a la Sex and The City. The pipe dream.
What I’m really here to say is that WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Go to Front and Company and enter to WIN a $100 gift card so you can go buy this lace dress fo yo self. It’s the very last day to enter this awesome giveaway, so you better act fast!

Super Base
Start with your usual base. I’m very low maintenance when it comes to skin, so I usually just do a moisturizer with SPF and then spot conceal as needed using this. If I want to feel extra done up or am noticing major dark under eye circles, then I will do a tinted moisturizer (this one is my favourite). Then, I always do my brows next, for no apparent reason. I fill them in with my Bombay Brow Bar eyebrow shadow in ‘Ash’ and lightly seal that with the wax.
Cheeky Monkey
I use the coral creme blush every day. Using my ring finger, I smile and VERY lightly apply it in a diagonal upwards motion on the apples of my cheeks. I then use the Bronzer to slightly contour the cheeks and brush around where needed.
Green Eyes, You’re The One I Wanted To Find
I used an eye shadow brush to apply the darker green on my lids. I started in the middle of the lid and pat the shadow down since it’s such a bold hue. I then applied the lighter green around my eye ducts and carefully along the bottom lash line. I played around from there using my finger to blend in the crease area and applying the lighter green if needed. The green needed a definitive contrast, so I applied a black pencil liner along both the top and bottom lash lines. Curled my lashes and applied this mascara to complete the eyes.
Kiss and Make Up
The HYDRA KISS is such a great day time lip colour. It’s super low maintenance and applies very easily. Plus, the Rose Eden colour was a fun contrast to the green eyes.

With the summer sunshine ahead, it was the perfect time to give Lise Watier’s Limited Edition Eden Tropical Collection a try. This was probably my very first adventure into green eye shadow – ever. I recently received a hot tip from a professional makeup artist that it’s time to get used to colourful eyes. Which is always funny, since we all just started getting used to a bold lip colour again. Sigh, how trends move along so quickly! Anyway, I have to say that it wasn’t as scary as I thought it was going to be. It’s definitely a look that all of us can easily achieve with a little trial and error 🙂
Thanks to Lise Watier for letting me take this collection our for a test run! If you have any questions about the look, be sure to let me know in the comments below.
