I’ve been noticing a huge trend in my posts lately…they all seem to involve denim! I suppose it’s a sign of plummeting temperatures, but I’m suddenly very aware of this and determined to style up a skirt for my meetings today. And some actually high heels. Gosh, it’s so easy to get into a denim and comfortable boots rut!
Not to deter you from this denim focused outfit, of course. I happened to borrow this from one of my favourite and inspiring local ladies, Jillian Harris! She posted this outfit on her instagram and I absolutely loved it. It was then decided that I could pretty much re-create it with the contents of my own closet. I sure do appreciate when things work out that way, don’t you?! Anyway, thanks for this one, Jilly! It’s truly the perfect weekend casual attire.

OMG! You truly have the BEST hair! I love looking back at your blog posts mostly because I love how you use colour. As a women of colour I get sad when most fashion bloggers use monochromatic looks or neutrals like grey and taupe as those do nothing for my skin tone. Your blog is def my fav. Thanks for the colourful inspiration 🙂
