Cento Notti Party

with the lovely crystal kwon, michelle da silva , and karm sumal  at the cento notti launch party (photo c/o the opus)

it’s getting more and more difficult to feel like your outfit is “cute” when you’re wearing 10 layers in order to stay moderately warm.  just the other day, i wore flats instead of boots and my toes were so numb, i was sure i was near hypothermia!

how do you manage to stay warm and stylish at the same time?

Warm and stylish? I'm pretty sure the two are mutually exclusive my friend, I'm sad to say 🙁 But you're looking fabulous as always in these photos. I love the blue shade of your dress, and the braid in your hair is so sweet!

That vividly hued blue is so pretty on you! I love saturated blues. They look fab on girls with dark hair 😉 Speaking of hair, yours is so soft looking!

    Love this look <3

Welll you look absolutely cute and chic to me! The touch of leopard could not be anymore perfect for my taste! … though it doesn't get that cold here in Mexico, I wear this very thin thermic undergarments used for ice skating, hope this can be useful. Nite nite!

I just bite the bullet and wear layers. I would rather be warm. I hate to say it but I prefer warmth to cuteness. BTW, Your dress… I LOVE.

Looking gorgeous! And I just wear layers, nothing exciting. I've seen your collection of coats so I personally think you look stylish every time you layer up to keep warm.

This is a very cute dress! I like the color on you.

I live in Texas and we might wear 2 layers tops in the winter. I try to wear cute clothes underneath those because we end up taking all off when we enter all the heated buildings! LOL

  • seekingstyleblog December 15, 2011 at 4:16 am

My friend and I joke that you cannot be warm and cute at the same time haha It either takes a lot of layers or a really good coat and prayers that there is a good heater wherever you're going haha

Beautiful shade of blue! I don't like being cold either, but I keep myself warm by wearing season-friendly clothes. 🙂

  • Liz Brown December 17, 2011 at 5:54 pm

Lol, I think layers are fun in winter. Tights and and funky socks and leggings and cardigans and boots are my friends. 🙂

  • Megan December 18, 2011 at 3:08 am

I know the feeling. I only have 1 winter coat and a couple of super warm scarves so it looks like I dress the exact same every single day! I miss fall when I could wear blazers and light scarves and leather jackets…but alas, that weather only lasts for a couple of weeks in Vancouver.

The colour of that dress is GORGEOUS. It looks fantastic on you!

  • Rebecca Jane December 19, 2011 at 4:31 am

That dress is a beauty – the colour is absolutely stunning!
