A big fan of TOPSHOP, I was so excited when they announced their store opening in Vancouver’s historic Hudson’s Bay Co. downtown. Little did I know, that they were opening the largest international TOPSHOP location with over 33,000 square feet of pure shopping bliss. I had the rare opportunity to pre-shop the new TOPSHOP/TOPMAN Vancouver store yesterday and it exceeded my expectations. An never-ending sea of this season’s hottest styles, complete with both tall and petite clothing sections, a personal shopping lounge, and of course a dreamy wall of shoes. The chic and dramatic interior is comparable to the TOPSHOP location in SoHO, which I had recently visited, though an even better layout with one level instead of five. Well, I don’t need to tell you, you’ll just have to go to see it for yourself!
The fun then continued last night at FIVESIXTY where Metric performed an intimate show for Vancouver’s TOPSHOP party people. The most incredible way to celebrate, Metric played an impressive set of their classic hits and new album favs. I had the most amazing front row experience, which only enhanced my girl crush on Emily Haines. She’s so charismatic and I mean, just look at her outfit. In. Love.
The TOPSHOP/TOPMAN Vancouver location is officially open today and is a definite must-see! I know I’ll be back very soon to get my hands on a pair of tapestry printed trousers. What will YOUR first TOPSHOP/TOPMAN Vancouver purchase be?

I stumbled upon TOPSHOP today by total accident. There was a ton of people though and it felt a little too overwhelming to shop. From what I saw though, it looks really cool.

I can't wait to check it out!! I didn't realize that the location was going to be so huge. This is the best news I've heard all week. And it's got TopMan so I can drag Ollie along and he'll have something to do! Fantastic.

P.S. The location for photos under cover is at the Boathouse at Kits beach. It's got the perfect overhang that lets in lots of light and you can still get the ocean in the back. Maybe I'll see you there — it might be one of the only decent spots during the rain in kits!
