Snow Em Gee

December 11, 2015

casual winter look

Another day, another glorious pun.  This one I fully admit was stolen from a terrible Christmas movie that I had on in the background yesterday.  We’ve had the W Network going strong, so it’s all made-for-tv holiday movies at our place, all the time!

This is the only snow I’ve seen so far this season (and I’m pretty sure it’s mostly fake powder – shhh).  Isn’t Whistler even more beautiful when the ground is covered in snow?!  We took these a few weeks back when we stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.  We were luck enough to get to see the paintings and meet the artists from their Trees Of Hope fundraiser.  The finished products are now available for auction with all the proceeds going to Canuck Place, so if you’re on the lookout for some new art, it’s for a great cause!

I hope to make it back there again soon to catch some fresh snowfall and another Scandinave Spa visit.  I always love bundling up for that fresh mountain air!  Maybe post holiday madness. Scroll down to see a few highlights from our Fairmont Chateau Whistler stay, including an incredible family-style meal IN the Farimont’s kitchen!
