This Is The Remix

These photos sum up my entire life right now.  Walking aimlessly, drinking coffee, and basking in the glory that is leggings and oversized sweaters.  Thank youuuuu December!  I know you’ve seen a version of this look before, but that’s okay because everyone likes a good remix, right?

We did something absolutely CRAZY last night and stayed out past midnight…on a Wednesday!  I know, what party animals!  I would only do this for Odesza, who was in town at The Commodore for their second night in a row.  Anyway, I don’t mean to sound like a dinosaur here, but it was the first time in a while that I felt, well, old!  I think the median age was 20, the responsibility level 0, and the dress code was Coachella casual.  No really, there was a few girls with shorts so little that they reminded me of this look T. Swift wore to the MTV VMA’s and there was even a guy in a penguin onesie.  I don’t say this to make fun of them either, I just felt like a g-ma out on the town being all “is this what the young kids are wearing these days?”  Point is, the people watching was excellent and we really did have a blast.  The two openers were awesome and Odesza always puts on a great show.  It seemed like every single person in attendance was dancing, and can you really have a bad time at a dance party with thousands of others?  I think not!  Tired today but it’s nothing that a little caffeine can’t help.
