to shrink my shopping list, i very specifically choose the items i want need.  one trend that has been lingering on this list is coloured denim.  love the look, but my dancer legs bring the proportions to a baaad place.  my compromise?  bright coloured trousers!  found these royal blue beauties at joe fresh.  They did unfortunately lead to a self inflicted ban from solo grocery shopping trips.  it was bound to happen at some point, i’ll just need to make sure to have the proper supervision during all future superstore visits.

i thought you should also know that i have a twitter giveaway exclusive to my followers.  it involves free sandwiches.  FREE SANDWICHES!  sorry for yelling.  i just wanted to really reinforce the message that i am giving away free sandwiches.  please use your twitter powers and help a girl out?  you’re the best!

Oh man… the reason I like going to Superstore so much is to "stop by" the Joe Fresh section (I mean, I'm there… it only makes sense to just see what's for sale). Love this bright look, Alicia!

I love superstore. I always end up buying housewares and other items before I actually venture into the grocery section.. 'grocery shopping' has never been better haha

Love these colors together! You look fantastic. I too have to reframe from grocery shopping at superstore solo too. When I go with Rhys I usually pretend to go pick up the avocados and he finds me by the shoes 10 minutes later. Its a problem.

  • CessOviedo March 27, 2012 at 11:23 pm

You look amazing in those trousers, love the fit! I had trouble finding the right colored skinny jeans but I finally found my fit, I should try trousers like yours, really like the combo you came up with! I would volunteer to be your supervisor but a blind can't lead another blind right'? ha ha, xo!

A lovely color combination – the yellow and royal blue! Totally spring appropriate and it looks so pretty with the cream blouse. Ah, it makes me miss the beautiful weather from this past weekend even more! It was so great!

Sorry to hear about your solo grocery store shopping ban, luckily they don't offer clothing at IGA, otherwise I'd probably be in the same boat :p

Hope you're having a good week so far! xo Leonie

I recently wore the exact same colour combo that I'm posting on my blog Friday! Love the Joe Fresh trousers and I agree that going to Superstore alone never ends up with just getting groceries…

K I need to go to Joe Fresh, everyone keeps parading around with these cute finds from there and I feel left out haha. Love this look, the colours are beautiful, as are you (but that's no surprise). PS I'm thinking I'm going to try to plan something for around the 20th since I'm not going to see you ladies for so long – are you busy with wedding things?

Love your bright colored outfit! You look beautiful as always. I love the new header too, by the way. Did you take these photos in Vancouver? Are there palm trees there?? Or am I crazy for asking that question? I lived there and never saw one!

  • chillairandperfume March 29, 2012 at 12:28 am

So bright & fun! I love the colors here. I can't resist a bright pant or a great cardi, so this outfit is right up my alley!

Omg I love Joe Fresh!!! They have such a great collection each season and the prices are so affordable. The mustard yellow and blue are a great combination. The blouse is effeminately so pretty, especially with the vintage-like necklace. Of course, you can never go wrong with some cheetah print too!
