Confession: I LOVE The Carrie Diaries.
I know it’s nowhere near the greatness that was Sex and The City, but it almost fills that void in the meantime.  Anna Sophia Robb is so charismatic and though I don’t know if I necessarily associate her with being Carrie, I love her just the same. Sure it can be a little silly and historically inaccurate, but if you haven’t watched already, I suggest starting from the beginning and giving it a try.  Oh, and did I mention that her crush, Sebastian, is also super hunky and apparently dating Vanessa Hudgens in real life?!  I mean, way to go Vanessa!
Between watching Girls and The Carrie Diaries, I’m more motivated than ever to do more writing.  I dug up my old notebooks last night and got lost in my old stories and poems.  So much teenage angst and boy drama, it’s just hilarious.  I’ll be sure to post tidbits this week.  Do you love writing?  How do you get into your creative writing ‘zone’?!

I have been watching The Carrie Diaries and I love the fashion. And it has inspired me to continue with my writing. I love to write and it feels great when ever I write something new.

Oh my god I love those shoes. I think I'll need to ask my sister to pick them up for me since I'm deprived of Joe Fresh in England! The sun in these photos makes me yearn for Vancouver and the styling is perfectly casual and thoughtful. I've heard so many good things about Girls, I should really get on that too!

Omg! Those shoes!!! They remind me of the Alexander Wang shoes from a couple of seasons ago. Super cute. Too bad Joe Fresh doesn't have an online store. Off to find similar ones on ebay!

    That clutch is so pretty!

I also LOVE The Carrie Diaries. I needed something to fill the void after Gossip Girl ended. The 80's music is so fun!

I'm a writer (sort of) and have penned an entire novel. I went through sending out 20 or so queries to agents, didn't get any bites, and have put it on the back burner for a bit. Blogging is a different kind of writing, but it's all I have time for now that I'm working full time and have a house to take care of.

Can't wait to hear some juicy diary excerpts from you 🙂
