Let’s be completely honest, I’ve never sported a bare midriff.  I actively chose not to participate in those phases of crop tops and bellybutton rings.  Yet, the other day, in the middle of winter, I threw on a pair of high waisted trousers and a cropped tie front blouse.  Staring back at my in the mirror was a little too much skin for a February day – and I liked it!  It’s almost a play on the cut-out trend we’ve seen in recent months but in a far more comfortable way for me.  There’s something extra sexy about showing just a tiny bit of skin in an unexpected way!  I can’t wait to rock this look a lot more when it’s actually warm out and appropriate attire 😉

You look great with the tied shirt, you are showing just the perfect amount of skin not much but enough to be a midriff and to become a sexy little touch! Love the shoes btw!

So darn sassy & cute! You are rocking this look! I wouldn't be brave enough to bare my midriff but It's so flattering on you, and so tastefully done! Loving your sunnies, too! xo.

Haha I think we were all pretty inappropriately dressed that day! 😉 You looked amazing though… I love the idea of pairing a midriff showing top with those Aritzia trousers. May just have to try it out myself come summertime if I'm feeling brave enough!

Great to see you (as usual) today… hopefully at Topshop tomorrow, too!
