met up with my cousin for coffee yesterday apres work. is it annoying to mix random french words into my posts? hope not, i’m guilty of doing this tout le temps. anyway, you might know mel as miss melissa and it’s true, we are related. we’re just one big fashion blogging family! it was a beautiful evening and we sat on the starbucks patio swapping gossip and healthy recipes. i laugh that we were so uninspired by the strip mall around us, and yet the parking lot pictures turned out really well. almost looks like we’re in california instead of coquitlam. does that count as a vacation to cali? i’ll take it.
all you need is some palm trees in the background and you'd be good to go! love the skirt and the color of it so much!!

I think you can count these photos as a trip to California, because you have a much more exciting trip in your future- France!! I'm thrilled for you, and will probably give you far more tips than you will reasonably be able to use while you're there 🙂 [On another France related note, the French words don't bother me at all- although it might be different if I didn't know French.]
