on another note, i have decided that there are three time in the year in which i cannot stand to be online. a product of pure jealousy, those times are during both weeks of nyfw and coachella. events that i have always wanted to attend, but haven’t been to yet…it’s just so painful to read updates from people there! i like to pretend that if i were in new york right now, this would be one of my daytime shopping outfits (okay, maybe not with the heels, to be more realistic). my goal is to get to nyfw this september. not sure how i am going to make that happen, but i sure am determined! who wants to come with? i couldn’t possibly the only person out there who dreams of attending shows and parties at nyfw?!

With regards to the umbrella theft, it sucks, but you know if it helps, maybe you help shield a person who was having a really rough day and needed the umbrella more than you?
I went to a bunch of shows for Mexico City's fashion week years ago. But we went as members of the press and public relations reps. How does a 'normal' person just attend shows? Do we buy tickets? How does it work?

I love the scarf; the colours and stripes make it look almost like a geometric design when you wrap it around your neck. I also love the yellow cardigan poking through — like an optimistic hope for spring.

I'm heading to NYFW again in September. You have to come! It would be so fun meeting up there! I attended shows for a New York based website and the entire time I was thinking; "I don't belong here" It is an amazing experience. I so hope you end up going!

YES! I totally agree with you on not wanting to be online (especially Twitter) during this time… I WANT TO BE IN NYC! I am really thinking of going there in September this year. I have never been to NYC, it has been at the top of my list for over 10 years, so it's time to go! It would be the happiest of times.
